Essie: A CUT ABOVE

For the Holidays I decided to buy an Essie festive nail polish.

I ended up purchasing Essie in "a cut above" #954

(Both can be purchased at any drugstore)

I decided to pair it with something more neutral in color.

Here I am using Salley Hansen Insta-dri in "quick sand" #140

Eyebrows !

Whenever I think back of when I didn't fill in my eyebrows,

I think "WHAT WAS I THINKING !""" LOL

Filling in your brows is a CRUCIAL step to your makeup routine

and structure of your face !

I have 3 EASY STEPS that you can follow to accomplish defined brows.

I am not claiming to be professional nor is this technique perfect, (but it sure does help lol)

Here Goes:

You can purchase this Wet N' Wild Eyebrow kit at any drug store.

It is really inexpensive ! Only $3 !!!!!!  Great Deal !

(I know mine is super dirty and yucky but I use it everyday

and it has "NORMAL" wear and tear LOL)

STEP 1: I first fill in the area in the picture below.

Start at the beginning of your brow and work your way up

to the arch of your brow.

STEP 2: Now, from the arch down, fill in.

STEP 3: With whatever product is left on the angled brush, use

it to fill in the most inner part of your brow. You want this section to be lighter

and not super dark for a more natural affect.

TADA ! Compare my two brows !

See the HUGE difference !!!!!!!!!

I really hope this helps someone out there in desperate need of eyebrow help !!!!

I don't know what I was thinking not filling in my brows back in the day !

I must have looked like a freak running around town ! LOL.

Everyday Neutral Makeup

Whenever I feel like wearing a neutral makeup look and

nothing too overload I usually go with this combination.

First, and most importantly prime your eyes with your favorite eye primer.

I am using NYX cosmetics eye shadow base.

Purchased at IMATS 2011

Apply primer all over lid.

I am using a Wet N' Wild eyeshadow pallet in "Walking on Eggshells"

Purchased at Walgreens, Can be found at any drug store.

First step is combing eyeshadow #1 and #2 and apply all over lid area.

Next, I take eyeshadow #3 and apply it on brow bone and inner corners of eyes.

Curl your lashes !

During the day time I like to wear Dark Brown eyeliner instead of black.

I am using NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in shade #602 Dark Brown.

I tight lined and lined only top of eyes and not bottom.

Apply your favorite mascara to top and bottom lashes.

TADA ! Your Done !

For this simple look, I went with a simple outfit.

Trend Alert: Leopard Print !

I am in love with the Leopard Print trend this year...

As I look in my closet I realize that I only own two leopard print items.

Item #1: Wedges from Payless

Item#2: (Dont remember where I got these) Smaller Heal Wedges with open toe

But......

I desperately want a Leopard Scarf !!!!!!!!!

They are super trendy and the perfect accessory for every outfit ! 

Doesnt the scarf just add an instant pop to the outfit???

Rite Aid Haul ! Yaya !

Soo....I went to Rite Aid today in search of a new liquid foundation,

and to my surprise all Wet N' Wild products were 40% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am such a bargain hunter that I couldn't pass up !

Things that make me smile !

Today I woke up realizing we start November next month !

Oh ! How time flies !

I started to reflect on my life and things that i am truley blessed with.

Haul Time !

So since I am now 6 months pregnant I haven't really purchased much clothing

because I feel that it is a waste to buy a lot of clothes now since later on after

I give birth, it wont fit. So I have been focusing more on accessories, bags,

nail polish, shoes, etc.

Target is one of my most most most most favorite stores because

Target always has great clearance deals and if you don't mind looking around

for those red tags sales you will find awesome treasures !

Anywho....

on to my purchases.....

I love love love love love love this fedora for fall!

The burnt orange color with the small details make a great piece for my fall wardrobe !

I first saw this hat on Dulcecandy87 from YouTube!

(I'm sure all of you know who she is, if not look her up silly.lol)

At first glance I loved it and then I saw it on Maytedoll21 (a beautiful blogger)

Maytedoll posts outfit ideas and she is one hot mama !

I kept thinking about it allllllll week, and decided to go back to get it,

to my luck it was on sale for $24.99 and quickly bought it !

One week later I was running really early for work and decided to stop at

Target before I went to work,I was browsing the purse section

and to my surprise again found the purse on sale for......

 $8.74 ! wow !

I was sooooooo happy that I bought two of them!

(one for me and one for my sissy)

I also wanted to quickly share that Target has a bunch of cute cute

Hello Kitty items in their dollar section !

I picked up this small little notebook ! Go Get One !



Lastly I went to Goodwill because I found out that a lot of Targets clearance items

get sent to Goodwill and then discounted some more,

so when I went I found this shelf that at Target was originally $19.99

and I got it at Goodwill for $8.00 !
